The gap in access to water is the most evident form of social inequality that can exist in
our country and, unfortunately, it is a reality that is experienced daily in different parts of the
national territory, so it is an obligation, both of the National Government and of society
as a whole, to carry out actions that safeguard national water resources and allow access for all social and economic needs of those who live in the Republic of Panama.
